Prince Humperdink

Can it really be Tuesday?!  Wow!

Even though it's sorta late to ask....How was your weekend, friend?
Mine was amazing!  It was full of family, friends and incredible food.  Does it get any better?

On Friday we went on a picnic and had a blast. Apparently it was a little too fun for this teeny gal because she konked out.  (Hey, it's exhausting being that cute!)

Then we went bowling with these little goofballs....

Then on Saturday I got to go to the Biltmore estate, again!!  A few weeks ago I was asked if I would pretty please go along and take portraits for a friend. Umm...yes, please! =D  Of course this little sweetie pie came along. It was a long day and she was such a peach!

We ate some amazing food at this gorgeous buffet...pretty much the best food I've ever eaten. Wowsers.  I felt like I needed to pinch myself.

Everything was SO beautiful...and look, there were even little chalkboards to tell what everything was! {swoon}

We sampled every single type of dessert they had.  My waistline may never recover, lol!

Then I took pics of my beautiful friend before she moves back to Brazil. {sniff:sniff}  I'm going to miss her so much!

I love this picture of her laughing...it's so "her."

 Isn't she gorgeous?

Are you wondering what Prince Humperdink has to do with any of this?  I thought so.

I feel like Prince Humperdink on "The Princess Bride" when he goes, "I've got my country's 500th anniversary to plan, my wedding to arrange, my wife to murder and Guilder to frame for it; I'm swamped."

Except mine is like, "I've got my church Ladies' Tea to plan, more portraits to edit, a graduation to attend, a wedding in PA to pack for and a sick baby on top of it: I'm swamped!!"  Yes, it's craziness I tell you.

(Just a little sidenote....if you've never seen The Princess Bride, just stop what you're doing, and go find it.  My brothers and I grew up watching it over and over and my family quotes it often.  Yep, we are all warped because of it....see, you don't know what you're missing!!)

Anyways....while I do have an uber-thrifty and fun project to share with you, along with last week's Project 52 picture, it may or may not happen.  We'll see.  The Ladies' Tea is on Saturday and I have a mile-long list of stuff to do SO if you don't hear from me until next week, you know where I am! =D

P.S.  Fill in the blank: "No more rhymes now, I mean it!!".............................. =D

    Inconceivable!!

My all-time favorite, too. Have not actually watched it in a while, but we could probably quote most of it!

You're friend is so beautiful. I love that last one of her looking to the side. You've got great talent with the camera! Have a great week. Good luck with that to-do list.

  3. I am not left-handed. :)
We love that movie too and use the quotes probably WAY too much. We finally introduced our kids to it (coughing loudly a few times to cover some stuff up.) We had to let them in on the fun.

  6. Love the pictures and Lucy gets cuter by the day! Do you remember the name of that buffet? We are most likely headed that way for an extended weekend trip away and thought that would be fun to go to for lunch some day!

  8. "You keep using that word 'warped' I do not think it means what you think it means..." Another great line! We love Princess Bride too! I introduced our kids to it the last time we were on furlough. We brought it back with us since I have not seen it sold here. I pray your Ladies tea goes well! You do have a lovely friend! She looks like fun!
