Happy Day-after-Easter! We had a wonderful day celebrating the Resurrection of our Saviour! And for the first time in quite a few years, we had NO company after church for Easter dinner. So we just had a small-ish feast as a family and thoroughly enjoyed it!
Last night we were asked if pics were up on the blog already from the day (which made me laugh), so in order to keep all matriarchal figures in our family happy, I decided it would be best to appease them ASAP. =D
We didn't spend much time taking pics though because, seriously, what kid (or husband) wants to stand still when they can smell ham wafting from the kitchen!
I love our little family! =)
These kiddos have grown so much since last years pics! And little Miss Lucy was just a little belly-bean then...we hadn't even announced yet that I was expecting!I was so excited about their dresses...I found Lucy's at a yardsale for $0.75 before she was born, and Lydia's was a hand-me-down from her cousins. The toile pattern was almost identical! Isn't that just awesome?!
BTW, can I just say how much I still LOVE headband curls?? Sure makes Sunday mornings way easier. Only had time to leave it in for about 1 1/2 hours but it turned out great!
I know. Very scary. And blurry. But Lydia wanted to be ballerinas, lol! =D
Even Lucy was scared after that, HA!
She absolutely loves to be lifted up in the air like this!
This pic makes me laugh...Levi looks like a bear scratching it's back against a tree!
If you talk to Lucy, this is what happens...she'll smile at you with her whole face. It's the most adorable thing EVER.
Daddy and his little princesses. {smile}
I had made Lucy a headband to match her dress...and then I couldn't find it. Boo. But of course I found it last night....in the sock drawer. How did it end up there?!? Oh well, glad I had this little pink number for her to wear!
Holding hands with daddy =)
We were heading in to eat lunch and Lucy was peaking around past Steven's arm and smiling at me. She loves me!! =)
How was your Easter weekend? Were you crazy busy with family get-togethers or was it a "low-key" day? Did you snap some fun Easter pics?
