My Memories Digital Scrapbook Review and GIVEAWAY!!

How many of you are scrapbookers?

And how many of you are wanna-be scrapbookers??

You know who you are.........you have some sort of scrapbook paper and stickers that have been stashed away in the closet in hopes that you will actually get around to doing that scrapbook??

Yeah, me too.

I have always loved scrapbooking.  But I'm a total wanna-be.  Really.  I have several books I've started. I have the paper, the stickers and all the good intentions, but it just doesn't get done!  Instead all my cute supplies are just taking up a whole bunch of space in my office.  Not cool.

And then there's my picture problem.  I take lots and LOTS of pictures.  But most of them don't get printed.  I e-mail them, blog them, but the majority just stay digital.  On top of shopping for the perfect paper and stickers, having my pictures printed was just one more hindrance. Sadly, this scrapbooking thing was just not working out so well!!

I finally came to the conclusion that if I was going to scrapbook, it had to be a lot simpler and much less time consuming.

Enter the awesome folks at My Memories.  I was so thrilled when they offered to give me a copy of their digital scrapbooking software to review!

Let me just be the first to say that I am not exactly the most talented person when it comes to figuring out new software!  But this was EASY.  Really.  I completely understand why reviews say it's the #1 Digital Scrapbooking Software in America and rated #1 on Amazon!

Okay, so there's basically two ways to make an album.  You can use pre-made templates and albums, or build it yourself with separate elements.  What's really awesome is that the software comes loaded with tons of choices, but you can also buy some really great scrapbooking kits from their store.  They also have a Freebie section (yay!!) and a Dollar Store.  I love that I can just shop at home for the perfect things to make an album!

Using one of their pre-designed albums, I was able to make this page in less than ten minutes!  (That would have NEVER happened with regular scrapbooking....all that cutting, gluing, etc.!) One of my favorite things about this software is you can customize everything!  Even if you pick a pre-made template, you can still tweak it.  I LOVE that.  You can add or delete items on the template, move things around, etc.

Let me just add that my husband, who is a photoshop guru and has been doing graphic design for nearly a decade, played with the software and was completely impressed!  He really liked that the program was so simple, yet it gave you so much control.

Want to know my favorite thing about My Memories suite?  It's not just for scrapbooking!  You can make word art, invitations, photo cards...the possibilities are pretty much endless.  I took a few minutes and finally made a birth announcement for our little Lucy-loo!

So if you've always wanted to take a plunge into the world of scrapbooking, I highly recommend this software.  My Memories Suite truly makes it easy to preserve all of your family memories!

And now for the BEST part....I get to give one of you a copy of My Memories Suite!  Yay!! Seriously, I've been raving to my friends about this software all week long and can hardly wait for one of you to try it out!

Also, My Memories is giving ALL of you $10 off the purchase price of My Memories Suite, PLUS another $10 coupon for their store!  How cool is that?  To use these coupons, use promo code STMMMS72421 in their checkout.
