He's Gonna Be A Great Big Brother

This was one of those adorable, impromptu moments that I will always cherish.   

Levi and I were sitting on the wall at the park, watching his older siblings swing.  All of the sudden he says, "Mommy, open the baby," and reaches over and lifts up my shirt.  (Of course exposing my bright-white-never-before-seen-the-sun belly.  Thankfully we were the only ones there!!)

He then leans over and lays his head down and begins whispering:

"Hi __ __ __ __ ,"(sorry, not spilling her name yet! )

"How ya doin'?  At the park....pwayin' (playing)....slide....bwidge.  Sissy and Bia (his name for Caleb), swingin'."

He lets out a big sigh.

"Wuv you. Bye-bye __ __ __ __.  Amen." 

Then he reaches that little hand up to fix my shirt.

"Close the baby now, Mommy.  All done."

So sweet. {sniffle} And so thankful my hubby got this precious memory on camera.

(Have to say that it cracked me up when he said, "Amen!"  Perhaps to a two year old this makes sense...we say "Amen" after we pray to Jesus and we can't see him, so maybe he says, "Amen" after talking to his baby sister since he can't see her either??  Too funny.)
