Our 9th Anniversary

{June 14, 2002}

Nine years ago today, I married my best friend and love of my life.  I've been blessed beyond what I could have ever imagined with a husband like him. Although the right words just seem to fail me today, he's truly the "bestest", as I call him....a faithful man of character who loves, gives and serves endlessly.  He's my hero and the person I want to be like.  I can't imagine going through life with anybody else!

In celebration of our anniversary, we were able to go on a date last night and it was so much fun.  (Seems like the longer we are married, the more fun we have!)  After eating at Outback (which was amazing) and then doing some strolling and window shopping, we went to Rita's.  Now, I have heard about Rita's for years and a few months ago we found that we had one near us.  This was our first chance to go and wowsers, it was fabulous!!  I had a mango gelati and Steven had a raspberry chocolate misto (??) shake.  It was sooooo good! 

It's gonna be bad though.  It's summer.  It's really, really hot.  I'm pregnant.  And I've sampled the deliciousness of Rita's.  Sounds like an expensive summer, LOL! =P
