Baby #4

{Week 15}

Random facts about this pregnancy:

  • First time ever to have morning sickness.  From weeks 6-12, I mostly felt like I was going to throw up all day long.  Never actually did, although sometimes I just wished I would so I would feel better.  Usually around 6pm it hit even harder.  This made evening services at church interesting!
  • So far, no complications and baby looks healthy! Praise the Lord!
  • Seeing a midwife for the first time and love it.
  • The last three weeks I have really struggled to have an appetite.  My mom's advice? "Eat pickles."  Made me laugh. =)
  • When I am hungry, I want to eat random things like onion rings.
  • I don't want my "normal pregnancy craving."  It sounds totally gross this time.
  • Have only gained one pound so far.
  • I'm in the "I just look fat stage."  You mommies all know what I'm talking about.  Too small for maternity clothes but bulging in regular clothes.  Yeah.
  • I eat alot of watermelon.
  • Feeling really, really good most of the time!

Thank you to all who have been praying for me...please keep it up!  We are trusting the Lord for a healthy baby and an uneventful pregnancy!

  5. Congratulations on #4! What a wonderful blessing...hope you'll be feeling better soon. I had six children and and first 4 pregnancy's the morning sickness was awful. I now have my first two grand-babies on the way. One will arrive mid October and the other around Christmas.

    Oh, I feel your first time sickness woes! We're expecting our 5th and this was the first time I'd ever been sick too...feeling nauseated is worse than actually "givin' it up" if ya know what I mean! So glad that's over!! And watermelon...sounds yummy!!!
