I told them to sit on the couch and wait for school to begin. Quickly, I did whatever it was I needed to do, came back down the hall and found them like this.
This is just one of the many reasons I love to homeschool. When the days get chaotic and I'm exhausted, I think of these sweet moments. These little people have the privilege of sharing all their days together, forming strong sibling bonds, never able to imagine daily life without the other. Sadly, the time will come all too soon that they will leave our little nest and every day moments won't be possible anymore.
But for today, I'll cherish my little people and smile at moments like this.
