The little person to whom these feet belong will be having surgery on Thursday. Not open heart surgery, but heart catheterization surgery. They will be doing a number of things during that procedure, one of which will have great long term effects for Lydia. Hopefully after this she'll be able to climb higher, run faster, play longer and all the things most kids like her take for granted.
The other day I heard her say to Caleb, "Guess what Caleb?? After next week I'm gonna beat you in soccer!"
I sure hope so.
