One Busy Chick

Yes, that would be me! Life has been full speed ahead here lately and that has left little time for extras like blogging. As much as I love blogging, it has had to be put on the back burner for a while! What have we been up to? Well, a little bit of everything! Soon I should be back in the blogosphere, but I wanted to give you all a little update on what is happening with us.

Lydia and Caleb are doing great and are so happy that it's finally warm outside. Lydia is about to finish up kindergarten (sniff:sniff).....today and tomorrow are her last days. (Homeschooling...yet another reason I am so busy!) She is thrilled to be becoming a "first grader" and even has her first loose tooth. Caleb is his normal, full-speed-ahead self and is greatly looking forward to the arrival of his baby brother. He sings and talks to Levi many, many times a day! "You are my sunshine" is sung to Levi daily. =)

Steven and I are doing great as well! Being a Pastor has been a huge adjustment for my husband, but he is doing a great job and I'm so proud of him. God has already done some great things in our church and answered many prayers. I am now in the end of my 26th week in pregnancy and am excited to be entering the third trimester on Sunday. Nesting has kicked in (and it's in high gear, let me tell you!!) and I can't wait to wrap up Kindergarten so I can tear this place apart, reorganize it and get ready for Levi! There is ALOT of work to do, and I'm going to take these next few weeks and hit it hard before I'm too big and too tired. So between being a wife, mom (and a gestating one at that!), K-5 teacher, and new pastors wife, I've been one busy chick!

Speaking of chicks.....a family in our church has a small hobby farm with chickens, turkeys and pygmy goats. These little chicks were born Easter Sunday and we were able to see them that Wednesday before church. They are were so cute and sweet, all 80 of them!! Lydia and Caleb just adored them!
