Looking at the tiny feet and toes is amazing to me! See the five teeny toes?
Sweet little arm and hand. Tiny fingers amaze me too! Oh, and the big blob that baby's arm is next to is the placenta. We had never seen such an up close look at the placenta before, but because of baby's odd position, it was very visible. It really looks like a massive blob compared to the baby!

Those little legs and feet are making themselves known more and more each day. This baby has some very powerful kicks already!
Well, this is the best profile picture we could get! We were being ignored and our many attempts to get baby to move were of no avail. As you can see in the picture, baby looks quite comfy standing on his/her head! Hopefully next time we'll get some better pictures. =)

How did you break the "little brother" or "little sister" news to your kids?
We don't know where they came up with the idea, but they requested that we not just tell them. They wanted us to go to the store and find the baby an outfit and let them find out that way. We thought their request was adorable so we wanted to make it happen! We had planned to go shopping right after my appointment, but things took much longer than expected and there was no time. That evening though, Auntie Amy and Uncle Eric came over for about an hour to stay with Lydia and Caleb so we could go shopping. We had not told anybody the gender yet so even Auntie and Uncle couldn't wait to know!
Here are the eager, excited faces that greeted us when we got home!! They were definitely giddy with anticipation!
We didn't take time to wrap it...I think that would have been torture!
As they pulled it out of the bag, it took them both a second to realize to which gender it belonged!
Here's Caleb shouting and clapping, "I'm getting a baby brother!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" He is still so excited about it. We were wondering how Lydia would react because she was really wanting a baby sister but she was just as excited as the rest of us. She's a sweetie. =) And Uncle looks pretty happy too, doesn't he?
I must confess, it was so much fun being in the baby section of a store again. Looking at the tiny clothes, feeling the soft, cuddly blankets....it's all so adorable. But the best part to me was watching my sweet husband look through all of it like a kid in a candy store. Every 30 seconds it seemed he was saying, "Aww...this is so cute!" or "That is great!" and holding something up for me to see. He just loved this outfit (and the matching blanket) and we both thought it was quite fitting for a baby who was standing on his head. =)

Hee-hee, I just love what it says. Don't you think little Mr. Levi will look smashing in it?
