Not Me! Monday--The Revised with working pictures edition

Well, after several weeks of not participating in MckMama's Not me! Monday, I figured I had gone long enough with out confessing and letting ya'll in on the "real me." Just prepare your self, it's not pretty. =)


This is not a photo of me that my husband took while I was vegging out on Sunday afternoon and checking blogland. No, I was diligently cleaning the house...this has to be a clone! (Or I can claim conspiracy...he is really good at photoshop you know.) And I would have never just grabbed the blue kiddie chair because it was close by instead of getting an adult one from the dining room. Nope not me! I would never be that lazy.

These are not the most amazing cinnamon rolls, EVER. And I am not proud and boasting about my own baking. I did not make these for my friend who just had a baby and then decide that I needed to double the batch so I could have some. And I most certainly did not eat far too many of them since they were not amazingly good!

I do not find it quite disgusting that my children are enamored by the slugs that greet us from the floor, wall or door everytime we come home. I am not tempted to pour salt on them and watch them turn inside out. That of course would be cruel. They'd probably end up in therapy at 30 because of that.

And last but not least, I did not have this conversation with my 3 1/2 year old son yesterday afternoon right after he went potty and came running down the hall all excited to tell me something.

Caleb: "Mommy, Mommy!!! Guess What?! I can squirt juice!!"
Me: "What do you mean you can squirt juice?"
Caleb: "I can squirt juice out of my heiney!! Isn't that amazing?!!!"

Thank you Caleb, I will sleep better at night knowing you have discovered something special about bodily waste.

And I did not just post something that my son will be terribly embarrassed about in 10 years.
