Although making yogurt had nothing to do with cleaning, it was on my to-do list and I was glad to have it out of the way.
My fingers are a little sore...I scrubbed the kitchen floor with all of my might! (I have a hard time believing that the people who lived here before ever cleaned!) Although I had cleaned it since we've been here, it needed a really good deep cleaning. So, with a little cleaner (eco-friendly!), a scotch-brite pad, hot water and some elbow grease, a HUGE difference was made. I think we can even eat off of the floor now! Not that we'd want to do that or anything.=)
The master bedroom furniture did get dusted and looks so much better. It hadn't been touched ince we moved. And now I can see my face in it! Who needs a mirror? =0)
I did clean the master bedroom counter and sink but I have no picture for you, I'm sorry!
The hall bathroom floor will have to wait since we are going to be painting the trim tonight. I think I'd rather tackle all of the paint specks in one scrubbing session!
Dinner was on the table shortly after Steven was home and declared delicious by all.
Scrambled eggs with ham, green pepper, onion, spinach and mozarella cheese and a dash of salt and pepper. These get rave reviews from Steven. =)
It was a productive day and once again I am encouraged by the progress I see. It is definitely beginning to look like home around here!
