Not Me Mondays

My Charming Kids, a blog I've been following for a few months, is authored by a pretty neat mom who has three children, ages 3, 2 and 11 months. Their fourth baby, Stellan, who is due in about 2 1/2 weeks, has heart problems and they will not know until he's born what his prognosis will be. Naturally, I was drawn to this family, as we have a lot in common! We have been praying for Stellan and I hope you will too.

MckMama, as she is called, has quite a sense of humor! I always get a kick out of her posts. She started a thing a few weeks ago called, "Not Me! Monday." We moms, especially those with little children, have a lot of these moments, don't we?! =)

So here I go with my first Monday of confessions. Oh boy. =) (Clearing throat...)

I did not stay up until 11:45 last night, knowing all the while that I would have to be up at 4:30. And I was not playing with my new photo software.

I did not make chocolate chip cookies yesterday afternoon (instead of packing!) and eat at least ten of them. And eat two of them for breakfast this morning? You've got to be kidding me!

I did not give in and give my son one before church last night. And I most certainly did not give him "the look" when he wouldn't sit still.

I did not go back to sleep this morning and make my husband pack his own lunch.

And while we were playing outside this afternoon, I most definitely did not, and would absolutely neeeever, because I'm such a germaphobe, wipe my son's dripping nose with my fingers because I didn't feel like going inside for a tissue. That would just be gross.
