Welcome to CVS!

When I first came across the CVS Extra Care Program, I was really confused. I had to read this so many times before I understood. Still feeling unsure about what I was doing, I tried it. And I haven’t turned back since! Over the past few months I have saved hundreds of dollars! $707.92 to be exact! (My receipt tells me!) I haven’t taken pictures of every single thing I’ve bought so far, but these were my great deals from a few weeks ago. This will give you an idea of what you can get at CVS for free or almost free. You should try it, it is definitely worth it!

I did this in three transactions. Meaning, I had it all up in there in my buggy, I just rang it up separately. My total out of pocket for all of this was $1.82.

#1: Loreal Shampoo (x4)
Trident Xtra Care Gum (x4)

The shampoo and the gum were both buy one get one free (BOGO) and I had BOGO coupons. This made them absolutely free! My total out of pocket was $.87 and that was for sales tax. The original price would have been $25.92.

#2: Clean and Clear face wash (x2)
Clean and Clear moisturizer
Clean and Clear face scrub

After all of my coupons and some ECB's (extra care bucks from a previous purchase) I only paid $.78 and I earned $5 in ECB's. (The promotion was buy $15 of Clean and Clear and get $5 in ECB's.) Original price would have been $19.98.

#3: Glade scented oil candles (x3) I love candles!

After coupons and ECB's it was $.17. I also earned $3 in ECB's.

I hope this gives you a good idea of how great it is to shop at CVS! Do any of you already shop at CVS?

  1. Don't you just love CVS? I'm not sure how they make money sometimes. Ha ha. I just went there yesterday, and by the time I got done, they owed me 3 cents. I saved $42 dollars! :) Keep me up to date with your bargains so that I can look for the same ones! Thanks for sharing!
