I hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend thinking about the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It's not about the candy, the pretty clothes, or even the family traditions. I'm so thankful that because Jesus has the power over death, we can have eternal life with Him in heaven. Death is not the end, praise the Lord! I cannot imagine wandering through this life thinking that this is as good as it gets. How depressing. Even when the holidays come around just getting excited about Santa Claus, or the Easter Bunny. Where would you find meaning? Where do you find peace? I guess in a bottle, or with whatever other addiction people run to for "comfort." I'm just so thankful that as a four year old girl, I realized that I was a sinner in need of a Saviour and I placed my trust in Christ. What a wonderful thing it is to be able to celebrate Easter and know that we do indeed serve a risen Saviour!
This Easter was a bit different for our family, but that's okay. It was extremely busy! One of our drivers was out of town so Steven had to drive the van to pick people up and take people home. So we didn't even eat lunch together! But that's okay since we weren't having a nice Easter meal anyway. ( We had a teen activity Saturday night so I didn't have time to do anything!) And then on Sunday night we had a singing group in from Ambassador Baptist College. After the service we were able to host them in our fellowship hall and it was really fun to catch up with some people. We didn't get home until 10:00 though! But all in all it was good day. Here's some pics of our clan all dressed up. =)
Here's my handsome hubby stylin' and profilin' before leaving to drive the van. Isn't he handsome? =) He looks all dignified and distinguished and way too serious in this picture! =)
Here's Mr. Caleb cheesing it up in his yellow to match Daddy.
I love this one. He wouldn't look up and smile at me and instead gave me this grin and little mischevious expression. He's a mess!
I just love this dress. She makes it look so pretty! (She was being silly and this is the only decent picture I got of her. ) I just love black and white and I have a serious fetish for polka dots. So the dress was perfect!!

He's SO cute!
Okay, these pics are really funny because I was trying so hard to get all of our faces in the picture. My arm is only so long! And I was trying to hurry so we weren't late for Sunday School. Don't worry, we weren't!
Look at the weird expressions on both Lydia and Caleb. I got a good laugh out of this one!
This is just the greatest picture! The focal point of the shot was the spikes in Caleb's hair! And from the angle they look all curvy and crazy. I just love it!
Awww...all dressed up and looking sweet! I was so glad that the Bradford Pear trees had already blossomed so we could have pictures in front of them. These were taken after the morning service after it had warmed up a little outside.

Me and my sweet babies. =) If you hadn't noticed yet, me and Lydia are in black white and the boys are in black and yellow. I guess we look like bumblebees this year. =)
One big, (actually small) happy family! =)
Cute pics...I love Caleb's hair too!! Awesome! Oh, Meg has the same dress...come up and we'll have Lydia and her take pics!!=) Oh, my friend Amanda's babies (all three) have the same dress and wore it for Easter too! How funny! It must be popular! Meg wore another dress...she wore her polka dot one last week...Anyway, your hair looks awesome! I was picturing way shorter! Looks great! You look alot like your momma!! Boy!!you do!! Love ya!
